Usually I use vacuum tube circuit., which in my honest opinion is the best voltage amplifier: superior sound quality, highly linear without negative feedback, smooth clipping, characteristics highly independent of temperature, greatly simplifying biasing, wider dynamic range than transistors circuits, due to higher operating voltages and so on…
